I just received an email from Maxis saying that the iPhone 4 will be available in the store soon. Like many iPhone user, I was poisoned with the stylish iPhone and my mind can’t stop thinking for a good excuse to upgrade my 3G. I need a very good excuse and reason if I want to upgrade my phone; otherwise the man sure will complain I am wasting money. He prefer to keep the money for investment like buy gold coins which could bring him any return in future and not a gadget which could bring him many problems in future, like kids fighting over the iPhone.

bread baking

I have been wanted to bake bread since long time ago. However, I don’t have any heavy-duty mixer and a lot of people frighten me that it is not easy to knead the dough, so I just keep it in my wish-to-do list.

Until last weekend, I decided to move ahead to bake bread. I thought I can try to use my cheapo mixer to do the mixing and try to use it to knead until it cant then only I continue to use my hand to knead the dough. But…… the mixer surprise me to do the kneading very well, although I have to switch it off for a rest in between!!!! This is amazing that my 180w mixer can knead bread dough!!!!

One day,

the gal show off her masterpiece to me and explain a bit of what she is drawing ….

then suddenly, I ask her to draw ‘bird’ …… I want to see how she draw the bird, whether is a real bird or just a simple V

she thinks for a while then said: bird bird is for boy boy wan, I don’t have it, I don’t know how to draw ???!!!!

I stun for a second and laugh like no tomorrow after I realize what she is talking about the bird!!!

So, I tell her, I am asking you to draw a bird, not the bird bird!!! Hahahhahaa

Bali, go or not go?

We book another set of free ticket during the free seat campaign on last October. It cost us only RM100 for 4 tickets to Bali during the school and Raya holiday this September. It was very cheap; especially during it was during the peak holiday. I book it immediately without thinking much.

Till now, I still cannot confirm whether we want to re-visit to Bali or let the ticket expire and claim back the airport tax later. The hubs said he rather save the money to buy gold coins instead of revisit to the same place which we been before at few months ago. :S

We attend to a kid’s birthday party at McD over the weekend.

The gal told me she wants to have birthday party at McD too. hmmm…… we have a problem here when come to party, we don’t know to invite who to the party since we don’t have many friends and relatives with young kids. No point to invite only adult to the party.

Anyway, I already have a plan for her next year birthday. I am sure she will love it.

hosting migration

I think the hosting migration is a success, except I forgot to backup a file. Because of my careless, I have to pay RM50 to get them retrieve the file for me to download. :S glad that they accept payment by Paypal, so I get to spend the balance RM in my Paypal account which I got no where to spend it.

The balance RM in the Paypal was too little for withdrawal, as there is a charge applies for any withdrawal less than RM400. So no way and it is not worth to pay the fee to withdraw such a small amount. I rather keep it and load more to invest in gold coins.

maxis internet data usage dispute

After waiting for a month, I finally got the invoice from Maxis. The internet data usage incurred to the billing was, 3239KB which cost me RM32.22. So, I make a call to the customer service to ask for dispute.

The CS who answers my call is very helpful and understands my case well. Other CS will only keep on mentioning iPhone is a smart phone and they can’t do anything, sound like you have to pay for everything as long as you are using iPhone.

According to the CS, he will first request for a usage report and will call me once he got it. He calls me on the next day. The report show there is 8x data transmitted for that day, from 6.38am until 10.33pm. Weird, they already disable the 3G for me in the afternoon, how come the data still running till 10.33pm??

With the report, he then proceeds to file a complaint for me and said will call me once he got the outcome. Another day later, he calls me and brings me a good news. The internet data charges of RM32.22 will be waived and will reflect on next billing.

The kids love to check out the brochure from any shopping mall, department store or hypermarket. They will check out every item on every page, name it and tell me anything they can think related to that item. Sometimes, they will point to the item and tell me, they want to buy it, or they wish to have it. :S can’t imagine they tell me they want to buy gold coins!!

Last few days, the boy was checking out the brochure from Isetan. Suddenly he looks at me and said, “Mummy, I feel like want to go to buy something” (我想去买东西). Hmmmm…… better ignore him. So I just said, “ohh….”.
