I decided to format my laptop as hope to kill the viruses, as well as the Trojans. This is the last step which I don’t wish to go through!! You know, if I format the system, means I have to load all the software again! Office, PS, Lightroom, FF and many! Gosh….. I have to update the service pack for my Vista too!!! I wish I have time to install all these. However, I think will be happier if I could get a new laptop from Machines. I like the sleek design of MacBook Air.
I format the system using the wizard from the recovery CD. The formatting process took about 10 hours, plus another 1 hr plus to load back the original setting and windows. It is the first time I live with a disconnected laptop for more than 10 hours! I can’t surf, can’t check email and also can login to play my favorite game at USA online casinos. Luckily the free casino bonus i got is from the best online casinos is still valid.
I wish I could go home now to get all the software installed.

Gosh… how time flies! Our month of hungry ghost has just past and the mid autumn festival is just another few days away! This year I am going to buy a real tang lung for my gal instead of an electrical tang lung. I think it is time to introduce it to her at this age. As for the boy, we will get him the electrical tang lung as he is too young.
Soon after our mid autumn festival, we have to prepare for the Halloween, the western ghost festival!! 
although there is still another month before Halloween, but I think I better look for the Halloween costume in early so that I can get the size I want. Besides the Halloween costume for the kids, I have to search for the halloween gift baskets too.
Well, it is not easy to search for a Halloween gift basket as there are too many online store available in the web. Most important is, I have no idea of what item to be included in the gift basket. Ok, I admit I am a bit particular as I want to ensure the item insides the gift basket is all what I like and what my friend like too.

I was so lazy for the past week. Although holidays is coming, but I just have no mood to plan anything for it. I think most probably is because of my sick babies. Yes, both the kids were sick, the cough and flu virus were spreading around the house about a day after we were back home from Phuket. Guess they must be catching a cold in Phuket. Or like those old folk believe, we should pantang a bit in the month of hungry ghost and shouldn’t bring the kids to anywhere? LOL Well, this is the first comment from my mum when the kiddos were sick. Anyway, glad that both the kiddos were recovering now.
So, what I have been doing for the past 2 days? I have been busy in front of my laptop looking for the shopping website and one of the shops have even getting ready to ship out my spree. Gosh…. what a bad news for hubby as I am using his credit card for the sprees. LOL I think he rather me spend time playing video slots in the online casino with those free bonus given. Anyway, it is just too late for him to stop me.

I always thought pottering is a professional job instead of a hobby, until I watch the movie of The Ghost. I think most of you remember the scene of pottering if you watch this movie before. Anyway, pottering is not really an easy task, especially centering clay, I don’t think I can do it well as I always so clumsy.
Well, I am not alone. A lot of people commented that why I always travel to Japan and why not travel to Europe. Well, I wish to go Europe too, but the money I spent for a trip to Japan is equal to the total air fares to Europe. :S Imagine, how to spend for a trip to Europe???
Lately, my friend invites me to join him for a backpacking tour in Europe for the period of a month! Ouch, how I wish I could join him!! I want to visit to UK, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands and so many!!! There are so much interested places in Europe!
I am kind to help him to search for some useful information on the web although I can’t tag along for the trip, I am hoping for a big souvenir actually. LOL Know what, there are so much of great hotels of Amsterdam available at Destinia. After checking around, immediately he made a reservation on the cheap Amsterdam Hotels. He actually plans to stay more days in Amsterdam. Amsterdam always is a beautiful city, especially with the blooming tulips, as well as the windmills!
I heard from a friend, Netherlands is the most beautiful country she ever been!

Last time when I was first introduced to computer, I was so eager to try almost all the software and have a lot of ‘junk’ installed in my computer. With too many of install and uninstall, end up I have to format and reinstall the computer. Imagine, last time when still the age of Windows 97… I have to create a startup disk with CD supported in a 3.5” diskette and load all the driver manually one by one!!! That is a lot of work and it is tiring!!!
Now, I have lost the interest to try new software although the format and reinstall process is easy with the latest version of Windows. I hate to have a lot of ‘junk’ software installed. Also, I have developed a habit of clear all the cache and cookies, as well as those unused temp files in a weekly basis. Besides of that, I will also run the disk defrag whenever I feel like the system is loading slow.
LaceWatcher PRO is a great software which I used to monitor my disk fragmentation level. LaceWatcher PRO provides the information of the actual disk usage and alerts if any action needs to be taken. Further, this is not only to watch the local disk in my system; instead, I am able to check all the disks that available in my network.
