another project …

My sis plan to visit to Japan for 15 days and she has a lot of places wanted to go! Well, half a month to spend in Japan is not a lot as there are too many places to visit. Since it is during the winter holiday, so they actually can’t do much within a day as the sky will turn dark at around 4pm! Yes, I hate the sky turn dark as such early, it just simply spoils the mood of traveling and it is not a good thought to snap a photo too!

So far their itinerary has almost done, as well as the airport transfer arrangement which is something similar to the Laguardia Airport Shuttle. Of course all the hotels were booked too, with a very good rate somemore! :)

Actually this itinerary is a challenge for me as I have to prepare it in the form of English instead of Chinese which we always used for Japan. It took me quite a lot of time to learn the train station name in English and also the name of the train route in English….. :S But one thing good is, typing in English is much easier than typing Chinese word.

another 2 weeks to school

I just realized that 2009 is only another 2 weeks away… meaning my gal will go to school for the first time in her lifetime in another 2 weeks later too!!! How times flies huh!!!

Be frank, besides the school bag, I am yet to prepare anything for her. In fact, I don’t know what to prepare as the stationery and books are all with school and she already have her water tumbler. I guess the only thing I need to do is to label all her belonging which she will bring to school later. :)

Last few days, I just ask a friend a silly question which is what shoes her gal wear to school? Is it the white school shoes or anything else? LOL when I register her to the kindy, I ask them before and they told me let wear her with ‘correct’ shoes as they may need to run, jump or play at the playground. In this case, definitely cannot wear croc and I guess sneaker would be the best choice.

Being a first timer, I think I need to learn about How to cope with preschool illnesses. Maybe I think too much already… tell you I even think if I need to prepare bento for her!!!! LOL

photo printing at only 30sen

Remember the scrap page which I made for our Summer Craze trip cannot read my laptop? Actually I already gave up rescuing it and decided to postpone the Summer Craze Photobook until …. Don’t know when!! LOL

However, I am just so heart itchy to get a travel photobook book, so I thought maybe I can make one for our Phuket Holiday which has lesser photo as compare to the Japan trip. Btw, we spend a total of 3 days at Phuket only, surely got lesser photo. But……. it still took me forever to finish the scrap page!! Sigh…

Now, I decided to forgo about the book as I found that printing out the photo into hardcopy is much cheaper, and most important is, it took me only a while of time instead of forever and never ending. :)

EOE online is offering 4R photo printing service at only 30sen while 5R at 50sen. Be frank, it is the cheapest rate I found in the market, moreover there is no handling fee charge like others. Delivery is free for order more than RM35. I have more than 120 photos wanted to print for the Phuket holiday. With their current blogger promo of 50 free prints, I only have to pay for the 70 photos! What a great deal, right? What’s more I stand a chance to win a brand new Olympus E-520 kit with a 14-42mm lens which is worth RM2499.

Exabyte Switchhhh

The day one I decided to get a domain and start blogging, I didn’t do much survey. I am just asked a friend of which web host he is using, checking out the price then immediately I sign up.

Tell you, this is the ever big mistake I have done! The support and system performance of this web host is terrible! It always took me forever to upload! After being with them for 2 years and they seems never bother to perform better, so I decided to SWITCH!

This round, I asked around the blogosphere of which web host they are using and how the performance is. Surprising most of them are all using Exabytes and they have very good comment to Exabytes.

I was glad that I made the move. With Exabytes, I never encounter any problem when I uploading any file to the server! I don’t have to sit in front of the screen to check the status of the upload. Another matter which I am very concern about it, the Exabytes server never ‘eats’ my email! With my previous web host, I always lost my email which most of it contain the activation link! You know how important of these activation link is???

Lately, I come across to know that Exabytes is now having a great campaign which offering discount up to RM100 for web host switching package!! So you know what to do if you are not happy with your current web host! LOL

Check out more!

Credit card accepted in fast food chain

I was a bit shocking when I saw there is Visa Wave terminal was fixed with the cashier machine in KFC. I thought fast food chain is all cash transaction and not accept credit card payment….. at least McD is not. Well, it is good that KFC is accepting credit card payment so that we don’t have to bring much money when dining in KFC.

Credit card is widely use nowadays and there is more and more merchant accept credit card payment. At the same time, there is also a lot of offer and promotion was introduced by the banker as thought to attract more customers to apply their credit card.

Well, it is not easy to choose a credit card which is suitable for our needs as there are too many credit cards available in the market. Of course, instead of going through every credit card detail from one bank to another, the easiest way is search, compare and apply online for best credit cards. It is fast and hassle free to apply credit card online, what the best is there is always some promotion or free give away item for new credit card application which is apply through online.

expensive baby

I remember during my first pregnancy, I bought a lot of baby stuffs and never bother if it is really needed and useful. I think I bought almost all the baby stuffs there are available in the market. A few months later when it is time to start solid feeding, I bought a lot of baby spoons. LOL

I learned to be smart when I was in my second pregnancy. Better don’t waste too much money on those unnecessary stuffs, there are more to spend later, especially when it is time to start school ….. Gosh!!! Be frank, it is not easy to raise a baby, it need a lot of heart and MONEY!!!! :) I have just spent about thousand plus for the first half year’s misc fee to register my gal to the kindy.

According to the pole, there are 43% of new parents claimed that there were not financially prepared for the birth of their child! To prepare for the new born baby, the best solution for them is swiping their credit card. In fact, being a parent, we must be wisely when spend with credit cards and newborns, and of course must control ourself when shopping in the mall!

urine acid

I was shocking to hear that, a few of my friends are actually were diagnosed with urine acid. The funniest if, they are either is fat or too slim, slimmer than me! Look like the healthier is with average body shape like me, not good to be too slim. LOL

According to them, they are advice to not to take too much of seafood and some other food which I couldn’t remember. Taking too much of these could make them into gout although gout is one of the symptoms of urine acid. Of course, they can always refer to the free online clinical solution which is provided by Epocrates of what food to avoid and how to treat urine acid.

Photo Canvas

Finally it comes to the month of December…. I am glad that I didn’t buy the Photobook voucher although it is quite cheap during the promotion. I think there must be a lot of people are rushing their photobook now as the voucher they bought during the great promotion is going to expire by end of the month. Btw, I just contact Photobook on behalf of a friend to ask beg for extension of the voucher. They agreed to extend the expiry date of the voucher to another month later.

I have a lot of photos which I want to create a photobook, but I really have no time for that. So, to display my beautiful travel photo, I decided to make the photo on canvas which is much easier. :) What the best is, there is Xmas sales promotion on the photo canvas prints. They offer up to 40% discount off the photos on canvas with free delivery! Cheapest canvas print cum 40% discount, are you drooling on that offer too?

The quality of the canvas print is double the output quality from other printing company. The 1440dpi resolution canvas is printed with fade free pigment ink on 100% cotton canvas.
