STROKE???????

My mum told me both her hand and leg will suddenly like numbness lately. Mind you, she has high blood pressure and is under medication since long long time ago. hmmmm… what do you think? The first thing come across my mind is STROKE. Immediately I log in to the web and search for more information about symptom of stroke and what is the test to check.

I was thrilled when I saw the word numbness in the list of symptom. Initially I was planned to bring her for the executive screening which is the full body checkup plus the stroke evaluation by taking a 64 slice MDCT scan on head and neck. The fee is not cheap and too bad as she doesn’t have any medical insurance to pay for it. She is too old for the medical insurance, as well as the Diabetic Life Insurance.

But, after thinking twice, I decided to bring her to see doctor first, and then let the doctor to decide which test to take. Hopefully everything is ok in her test. Will bring her to hospital tonight and get my pocket ready with more notes for the bill. Anyway, health is more important than money.
