something before the trip…

jrmap.jpg

Before I continue to the activities of our second day in Japan, let’s ‘bull shit’ a bit about the planning and preparation of the trip. :)This time, I am not traveling alone like before. A blogger tagging along for the trip, she brings along her husband and her 2 lovely daughters.

We take quite some times to decide which hotel to stay; we look into the room size, the bed size, the distance between the hotel and train station and also the weather. Believe or not, we have 2 hotels booking on hand and have the final decision only on the day before I fly. :)

The weather forecast show that the raining season start at early June instead of middle June, so we decided to stay in Hotel Sun City which is only 30 seconds walk from the north exit of station Ikebukuro.

Although we are traveling together, but we have our own set of itinerary which is only the second and third day is the same. We went to Hakone together.

Anyway, we do enjoy the trip so much.

lost photo recovery

I appreciate the all my photo taken during our holiday. That is the most priceless item for me after spending for so much, of course besides the memory. Like my boss said, that is what he got after spend more than 20k for a trip to Shanghai with his family.

However, I lost the entire folder which has stored all the photos we took in Japan during autumn 2006! I have tried so many methods trying to recall the file but in vain. The folder was lost forever from the HDD in my laptop! I never hit the delete key and the folder just disappears suddenly.

I was so sad ….. until I recall that there is a temporary folder which most of the photo store in my office PC. The temporary folder was creating when I make the photobook. How lucky!!! I didn’t lose the entire photo and I still have most of it.

Lesson learned and I always make sure that all my system has the Photo Image Recovery Software installed. It is recovery software to recover the lost photo of most of the format, like jpeg, bmp, tif, rif and gif for the standard license while professional can support more photo format like the raw file of Cannon (crw, cr2), Kodak (dcr), Minolta (mrw), Nikon (nef), Fuji (raf), Sigma (x3f), Pentax (pef), Sony (srf).

New Jersey

I like traveling Japan so much, until people can easily guess that I am going Japan again whenever I am taking a long leave from work. My boss even asks me to migrate to Japan better. No doubt, Japan is a nice country for traveling but definitely not staying there for long term.

If you are asking to choose where I want to migrate to, if I am rich of course, for sure I will choose to migrate to either Australia or New Zealand. But, hubby prefer to New Jersey. New Jersey is one of the most densely populated and the second wealthiest state in the U.S., this is most probably because of some of its cities serving as part of the Greater Metropolitan areas of New York City and Philadelphia.

According to the report from Real Estate New Jersey, New Jersey has experienced a 3.7 per cent increase over the last few years. That clearly proof that New Jersey is very well developed and there should be no problem in looking for a job in New Jersey.

Newark, Trenton, the state capital, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, Edison Township, Woodbridge Township, Dover Township, Hamilton and Camden are the largest cities in New Jersey.
