~ Start copy ~

It’s very simple. When you receive this tag, copy the whole list and add your own shopping tip to the bottom and pass it on.

1. Wear comfy clothing when you’re shopping. You don’t wanna fuss with too many laces and buttons when you’re trying clothes on. http://rinnah-marketplace.blogspot.com/

2. Choose stores offering some kind of reward program, e.g. purchase points, rebates or store coupons. Knowing how the program works and when to use them will save you a lot of money in the long run. http://kakishopping.giddytigers.com/

3. When buying pants or jeans, try to try them on with a pair of heels so you know its the right length. If you don’t and wear it with heels later, you might find that it hangs at an awkward length. http://www.all-aboutshopping.com/

4. We are always lure to buy the latest lipstick colour in town. Before you respond to magazine’s review and recommendation, make sure you try on the colour and walk around for a while before deciding to purchase it. Lipstick colour looks different when it’s absorbed on the lips and lightings can alter the way you look too. This will avoid buying a lipstick that doesn’t look so great on you afterall http://www.dorisgoshopping.com/

5. Don’t buy bras just before your period! I have big boobs just before period and the boobs deflated after my period, making the bra looks ‘unfull-filled’ Same thing with buying shoes in the evening. Your feet are bigger in the evening. Women Only!

6. If you’re planning to buy heels, avoid wearing sports shoes or covered shoes. You’ll spend more time removing and putting them back on everytime you try on a new pair of heels. Sasha’s TagsnSuch

7. Always request for a new piece on items like cloth, bag or shoe to avoid in getting them in condition like broken, loose, stain or loose parts with many tried from different people. If you like the piece very much happen to be last pair then you got to check really carefully. Lemonjude - Memoirs.:*CRoSs mY hEARt*:.

8. Remember keep the receipts for what you have bought for few days. You can change the size, colours or other stuffs if you feel it’s not suitable for you after back home. Lovelymummy

iPod Nano for the kids when traveling

I always wanted to get a portable DVD player for my kids, especially when I was planning for a holidays. I hope that the DVD player can make them sit quietly on their stroller when I was shopping. Also maybe they can enjoy themselves in the air plane too.

After I check around, I noticed that the DVD player was so expensive and quite heavy! So immediately I change my mind to get a 80GB iPod Nano which is smaller and lighter. I just have to upload their favorite movie to the iPod and no need to bring along the VCD or DVD. That’s so easy and it easy to keep too!!

Xbox…

I remember that Xbox was released after the launch of PS2, which means we had our PS2 before the launch of Xbox. Hubs was a video games fan, although we already have PS1, PS2 and Dreamcast, but he still wanted to get a Xbox. Someone told him that the graphic of Xbox is pretty and it has variety of games also!! Tel you I hate that person who told him this and seduce him to buy it! :)

However, luckily hubs didn’t get it at last! But recently, he seems like started to recall the memory and keep whining wanted to buy with, PS3, Wii or Xbox!! Ouch, Xbox again!! Anyway, I just neglect it and made him busy take care the kids and forget about the video games! :)

The lil manicurist

KW like to observe what we are doing and trying to learn it from us, just like to button her shirt.

Here is another skill she has learns since last 3 months - trim her nail.

Each time when she feels like her nail has grown, she will either go to take out the nail trimmer or ask from us if she can’t find it. She likes to sit next to the main door to trim her nail. Sometimes, when she can’t get to the edge, she will ask me to trim for her; in fact, that is the only way I have the chance to trim her nail.

However, she still needs to improve her nail trimming skill for a better looking nail instead of likes bite by the dog! :)

New Stroller for KW

We bought another stroller for KW few months back, it was Maclaren Volo, what we like about this stroller is it weight and it qualities chassis! It was weighing about 5.1kgs only which is much more lighter than her Techno XT.

With the new stroller, she could catch a wider view when she was sitting on it as compare to the Techno XT. The only disadvantage of Volo is she can’t have a good nap in this stroller. But she is big gal now and always rejects to sleep during the outing, so, it is not a big deal that the seat cannot recline. :)
