We went to Nanzen-ji Zen Temple by subway. It was our 1st “trip” to see RED LEAVES! Since it was late-autumn now, Mr sun going off work quite early at about 4.30pm, so we were there for about 1 hour only.

There was “huge” underground shopping street, Isetan inside Kyoto Station.

We went to Kyoto by the “bullet train” (Shinkansen). It took about 2h 45mins to reach Kyoto.

We bought the Shinkansen ticket under the “super value” “Shinkansen Tour” by JTB, 14500 per person including 1 way shinkansen ticket and 1 night hotel stay at Karasuma Kyoto Hotel (the normal fare for this 1-way ticket is about 12390yen).

On this long long holidays, i was
- planning to go Singapore, but no $$$$ !!
- Planning to go Malacca, but scare of flood !!
- planning to go Cameron Highland, but hubby dun wan !!
So better stay in KL .. and go shopping !!! 
My colleague told me Zara is having SALES now !! And Baskin Robbins also having 31% discount on 30 and 31 Dec !!

Our destination today is ghibli museum. We bought the entrance ticket at JTB Mitaka, 1000 yen per adult.

The museum was so beautiful; kw had fun in the ‘totoro bus’ playground.
There are 2 cafeteria inside the museum, 1 is selling hot dog and ice-cream and the other one is ’straw hat cafe’. The food in ’straw hat cafe’ was delicious especially the strawberry cake, it was so yummy! Kw ate all the strawberry, the strawberry was so sweet!
